Christina Jirgens

Cognitive Hypnotherapist, Master NLP Practitioner and Hypnobirth trainer.

My goal is to equip you with the tools and confidence to create lasting change within yourself. I want you to reach a point where you no longer need my support—where you feel strong, capable, and fully able to move forwards on your own. My focus is on helping you grow into the version of yourself you most want to be, not keeping you in therapy longer than necessary.

We are all unique and so is the way we experience the life and all it’s challenges. This is how I approach therapy, starting in your own individual view of the world, without the need for labels that might not serve you and helping you to identify the direction you wish to take and starting off down that path in a way that is entirely tailored and unique to you.

Our work together will always move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll explore what’s happening in your mind and body when anxiety, low mood, or other difficulties arise, building understanding step by step.

Between sessions, I may invite you to complete small, supportive tasks—such as practising simple techniques, listening to personalised WordWeaves, watching short videos, setting goals, or introducing moments of self-care. These help you gradually regain a sense of control and ease.

As a QCH therapist, my aim is to help your nervous system recognise safety again. We draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to build a practical toolkit you can rely on in daily life. I’ll offer guidance, choice, and calming strategies so we can shape a personalised “formula” that supports your wellbeing.

We begin by creating a foundation of safety, curiosity, and openness. When the time is right, we gently revisit the earliest moments that triggered your protective responses, allowing them to be understood and reframed. We start this journey side by side—and we finish when you feel confident walking forwards on your own.
